"tips, tutorials, and workarounds database"

"tips, tutorials, and workarounds database"

2003-05-28 by erik_magrini@Baxter.com

By disposition, I am a manual reader. I have been known to read manuals
75-100% before plunging into new gear.

>>>Ditto, the gear I know best is always the stuff where I had access to
the manual and read it before I even bought it. <<<

The plan: Everyone contributes clear, concise, tested well written "Tips,
Tutorials, and Workarounds" that would be maintained, organized, indexed,
updated, etc.

>>>I like the concept, and think it would befairly easy to setup and
maintain as a database within this group's homepage. We had one for
awhile, but no one was contributing, so it went bye bye. I'll start
another one if people want to add things to it, they can do so here:

http://groups.yahoo.com/group/xl7/database?

rEalm(people should fill out and update the other databases while they're
there!)

OK, I'll bite, I put the little tip in there, with the correction too.
I was interested in what rEalm was saying ":Additionally I made
custom Presets that act as drum RPS phrases in the Triggers (via
arps, lots of info I posted on this if you search the message
archives from last year)," and tried searching but didn't find the
references - could someone point me to this, sounds real interesting.
thx
Dana
