Emu XL-7 & MP-7 User's Group

I am getting ever closer to buying one of these, but I was just told 
by a guy in a music store to make certain I had the latest ROM on the 
machine. What version he didn't know, but he remembers from last year 
that the EMU guy had to come to where he worked and load in the new 
ROM to I assume get rid of problems.
Anyone know about this?

The latest rom is 2.0.  No matter what rom is built into the machine, 
you can *ALWAYS* upgrade it on www.emu.com
