Emu XL-7 & MP-7 User's Group

Is it too late to make a request for the new operating system?  I 
want to use the 16 trigger buttons on the MP-7 to select presets on 
my external sound module without playing a note.  

I could use my piano as a keyboard controller connected to the MP-7 
and setup a series of external device presets - one for each of the 
16 triggers (a menu of external sounds) and change sounds on my 
Roland sound module by pushing the various triggers on the MP-7.  

This will enable me to select the external sounds quickly while 
playing the keyboard during a live performance.  

Currently the only way I am aware of is to is to setup a separate 
pattern for each external preset, define the preset, and send an 
event to the channel.  The draw back is you can only define one 
external preset per channel and then you have to press play in order 
to select the darn thing.  

I would rather setup a pattern with 16 external presets ready and 
waiting for rapid fire execution.  Then the MP-7 would truly be a 
Command Station in every sense.
