Emu XL-7 & MP-7 User's Group

Am i blind, or is it really true: How can you delete patterns?
Secondly wanna load the conversed presets from the xl lead, any 
special method or just play the midi file?

Just playback the midi file from your sequencer to the **-7 and they 
will appear in the user banks.  Check the XL-1 manual to see which 
banks will be useful for your needs first to eliminate download time
