xl7 - The knob is loose on my xl7

the large knob above the Cursor keys on my xl7 is loose, i think. i just
noticed it today, and cant remember if it really does have a slight
"wigglyness", lol, or not. I am suspecting not, since I just noticed it and
all, but if you know any answers that would be great, like maybe how to
remove the knob and/or how to tighten it(without force, I don't wanna break
