whenever i hit a pad say like 5 times in a row, each time it seems to play either really low or loud --and i am hitting with the same amount of velocity each time. is there something wrong with the pads? thanks

Is this a brand new box? Mine felt like it took a couple weeks of abuse
to really "break in" properly. Maybe it just took me that long to adjust
to the feel of the pads...

yes it is new from the store....i think you are right cause the pads are starting to respond alot better. thanks for the info - peace
