Anybody else use strips of paper between the track enable button rows?

A tough thing for me had been remembering which track had which patch (and which part.) Finally, I cut a bunch of half-inch strips of paper for placement between the rows of track enable buttons. Then, for each pattern, I wrote the part name for the button above or below. IE: each strip winds up with two rows of part names, one for the buttons above and one for the buttons below. This helps a LOT. So far, this is a manual process. Now that I have a printer again, I'm thinking of automating it a bit better, and maybe branching out to something to hang on the knob array, with useful information for them. (Part names, and for individual patches, starting positions.) But perhaps you guys are miles ahead of me, so I figured I'd ask if anybody else has done this.
