Emu XL-7 & MP-7 User's Group

Hi,
I'm assuming that all the roms have the same basic waveforms and 
effects in the preset editor? Can anyone give me some tips for 
programming things like pads or growling leads with them? it took me 
years to admit it. but programming waveforms on teh XX-7 makes me feel 
like a meganoob. and i'm not that bad with other synths.
