Emu XL-7 & MP-7 User's Group

Does anyone out there know if this can be fixed , if so where should I 
look and around how much will I spend. the unit still works just can't 
navigate. The unit fell off of its stand breaking the knob leaving the 
stem of the knob stuck in the unit

Do you mean the big encoder knob above the cursor keys?
Its should be a fairly common encoder pot.
If your in the states have a look at http://www.mouser.com/
Shouldn't cost to much.
Ticky bit will be getting the old one off cleanly without damaging the 
solder pads. Can be done ok though.
