The Behringer looks interesting. My main controller is an 88-key. But I'm looking for a smaller, cheapr, more portable solution for songwriting sessions - the singer/songwriter I'm working with lives in a 3rd-story apartment. This little keyboard looks like it might fit the bill. --- In xl7@yahoogroups.com, "malik" <malik_martin@...> wrote:

thnks for the reply guys! your a great help here on these groups! i didnt think these midi controllers would be so expensive! well i suppose your paying for top quality products at the end of the day, one last question tho, its got to have 'midi out' on the keyboard to work with the xl7 right? then the cable goes to 'midi in' on the xl7 and then you set up the channels ect and your off right? also i found this "very very cheap" keyboard on amazon... http://www.amazon.co.uk/TerraTec-MIDI-Smart-Keyboard-retail/dp/B00005U2NQ/sr=1-5/qid=1166143854/ref=sr_1_5/202-8131826-8095827?ie=UTF8&s=electronics biggest link in the world lol!
