Emu XL-7 & MP-7 User's Group

Hello:Is it possible or a work around to have the Bts.(Riff's ?) to
work in the Arps mode for Sequencing on the XL-7.I did not like the
idea of looping the midi cable out to in on the Xl-7.Just looking for
another solution to sequencing the Beat loops i hear while pressing
the pads.Maybe some copy and pasting here and there?Thanks

1. The idea of looping midi out to midi in is so you can record note 
and controller data from a riff or arp into a pattern. Once its in a 
pattern, you can disconnect the midi loop and edit the arp or riff 
now stored in the pattern.

2. I am not sure I follow what you want to do. Could you explain what 
you are trying to do when you say:
 (a) to have the bts/riffs work in arps mode, and
 (b) sequencing the beats loops . . . while pressing the pads.
