I will start by saying that I am sorry if I rubbed you the wrong
way. I think I have just heard to much complaining in here about
this box.

>>>Yeah, we're all a bunch of whiners now and then :) <<<

Dude it is simple I am not shur why people have a hard time with it.
Anyone who has ever used a mixer with four FX sends can just look at
it the same way.

>>>Same here, the effects aren't that hard to understand. Not sure why
peopel complan about the implementation either, I think the send are way
more flexible than say the mc505 or the RM1x. Complaints should be about
the type of effects (too bread and butter for a dance machine), not the
sends. <<<

I see what you are getting at but is very good to have things like the
LFO's for triggering/retriggering drum sounds. Once you get familier with
the chords and the setup of the preset edit layers it is not a long
process to get what you are after, as long as you know what you want. It
is easy to get distracted in there.

>>>I'd rather have too many options, then not enouigh (ala Yamaha) <<<

I wish I could help you out there but I know nothing about MAC's. That is
totaly frustrating, I had some trouble with it the first time and it drove
me nutts. Good luck, but i dont think you will need luck if you have
Aaron helping you.

>>>I know of two other people using MAc Ti Books that can't use E-Loader
either, even though all signs say ti shoudl work. I've told tehm to
contact Emu support about it as well. Agreed, that is really frustrating.
since you work at a music store, I would think it would be dead easy to
bring the XL-7 into the store and do it with one of the PCs/Macs there.
You've got way more options open to you than most people do take advantage
of them! <<<

About the E-loader: you suggested me to bring the machine back
into the store and try on the computers there.
I don't just work there, I am the owner, and we don't have a single
PC in sight, also because we do phone orders and online sales
most exclusively and all runs on Macs.
I will try and bring the setup here on one of these Macs. I will tell
you what happens but, as I already pointed out, it is a frustrating
situation.
I imagine a customer who is not American or British and does
not speak English, trying to solve this problem on his own.
Anyway, thanks to your help.

No I understand completely, it SHOULD work. One of my good friends who is
great with computers (macs and PC's) couldn't get his to work on a mac
either, no matter what he tried. Good luck, let me know if I can be of
any help!
