Emu XL-7 & MP-7 User's Group

Hi ya,
I've just purchased the MP-7 and even though the manual is quite hard
to understand.. i'll hopefully get there :) nice to have found a user
community for this awful piece of equipment!!

Right, my problem so far is that i'm unable to change the preset
somehow. That's what i do:

1. I select an empty pattern.
2. click on preset. when i hit the pads i hear a sort of guitar preset.
3. i change the preset to whatever i want but i still hear the same
preset...

how is this possible?? what am i doing wrong???

No worries, the post to enable the midi program change gave me an idea
and it's now sorted.
I had the controller set to b16. set it back to basic and everything
is ok now!!
