Demo songs and Super beats

Demo songs and Super beats

2004-11-03 by jumbuk2004

Just got my XL-7. Sold my XL-1 and upgraded.

It will take a while to get to know the XL-7. A couple of questions:

- My XL-1 had some bts: presets - these are gone on the XL-7. Is
there a later update of the presets? Can these be downloaded to the
machine?

- I have a World Expedition ROM that I kept from the XL-1. The
presets show up in the XL-7, but the demo songs are gone. Not so
important, I guess, but it would be nice to have them back. They must
be on the ROM - anyway to get at them?

Thanks,

>>>Nope, sorry. The only way would be if Ed still has his midi files for
those and is nice enough to send them to you to loud as regular songs.<<<

- Yes, I have OS 2.00. I do have bts presets on the World ROM, and
they work fine.
Just realised that the XL-7 presets are not the same as the XL-1
presets. I will try downloading the XL-1 presets from the Files
section of this group and see if they work.

Ed Mann, one of the main developers behind the World Rom and Planet Earth
modules. I believe most of the instruments sampled in that collection
were his own. Anyway, he's on this list from time to time, he may be able
to help you out if he gets this....
