Fisher Price presents "My First House Track" (Safe For All Ages)

Hey all, here's another new track from me, a lot different from my usual
stuff (at least I think so). Been listening to a lot of house lately for
the first time, and I think that will be pretty apparent once you hear
this one.

Drums are real minimal on this one, though the kick actually took a lot
work, the BD alone is a composite of about 12 kicks run through the UAD-1
EX-1 plug in (I was bored one day). The bassline is something I found in a
free online sample pack that was tweaked slightly, no idea where it's
really from. That one has a bit of UAD-1 Fairchild on it, probably my
favorite compressor at the moment. The HH samples are courtesy of drK,
which I think came from a Computer Music Sample CD. The ride and crash
are from the PX-7 Protean Drum ROM using a bit of the PX-7's internal
swing to liven them up just a bit.

The guitar is all me playing my Ibanez S540FMTT through the Pod XT with
the new amp and effects packs. Usually using the wah half-cocked, and
switching to the single coil for the main riff to make it sort of twangy.
The delays on the guitar are from both the Lexicon PSP84s plug in and the
Pod's internal delay which is very nice in the new effect packs.

The various synth parts and all the fills are from the Virus KC and Z3ta+
(totally loving this VSTi lately). Pre-mastering was in Wavelab using the
Wave's Mastering bundle.

Anyway, if you get a chance to listen, this is a bit different for me, so
I'm curious what people think. I was just going for a chill summer vibe,
so if it's not dance-able, I don't care.
