Looking for ROMS

Looking for ROMS

2004-08-09 by Bruce Manning

I thought I would check with the group about anyone selling the B3, TechnoSynth, Beat Garden, and XL7 ROMs

I have a couple of extra Composer ROMs, Orchestra Vol 2, Vintage, and Proteus 123 and maybe we could work out a deal, otherwise just a good deal on one of the chips would be nice.

I thought maybe another user might have one of these other chips they were willing to part with.

I enjoy the info from the group.

Thanks

Re: [xl7] Looking for ROMS

well, not be a total self-serving shill, but i'm selling my MP-7 and
it's 3 extra ROMs (Composer, Beat Garden, & XLead) on eBay:
http://cgi6.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?
ViewSellersOtherItems&userid=bruddahmax&include=0&since=
-1&sort=3&rows=50

and just for the record, i may be getting rid of my E-mu gear, but that
does not reflect my feelings about it - i love the E-mu command
station, it just doesn't fit into my sonic tinkerings these days.
anyhoo, i'm starting the ROMs out pretty cheap if you're interested. 1
day to go...

I saw that a few hours ago and recognized your name; put my bid in for one of your ROMs.

Sorry to see you sell your Command Station because your input here at the group has always been knowledgeable and welcome.

Why only a 3 day auction ?

yeah i'm not sure how i feel about it - this is my third Command
Station - i had two XL-7's before (sold the first one, missed it,
bought it again, sold it, missed it, bought an MP-7). i'll probably
find myself missing the Command Station sometime in the future and will
probably get a PX-7 if that's the case. the sequencer is just so darn
NIFTY. i'm really liking my laptop based system, though - much more
flexibility.

> Why only a 3 day auction ?

in my opinion all auctions should only be 3 days. why prolong the
inevitable? most bidders bid in the last five minutes anyway with
sniping software.

Hi,

You can find composer rom preset listing in the Proteus 2000
Operation Manual. You can download that or Composer (Proteus ROM)
Instrument Keymaps on the www.emu.com site, click support/software &
manuals then from the 3 list boxes choose in the 1st hardware
instruments, the 2nd sound modules, the 3rd proteus 2000.
