Now that I finally realized my audio card has a digital in, I am starting to use it. I am a bit puzzled about why it has what appears to be a rather low output compared to the output when I record from the outs of my mixer. Its not really a problem I guess, but puzzling. I tried to search the archives on this but couldn't find anything. Any info appreciated. thx

Unfortunately, the way yahoo searches the archives only searches some ridiculously small number of messages at a time. To get more, you have to continually hit the "Next" link to search the next palty number, even after it says "No matches found". In any case, there's a slew of messages in the 13152-13222 range, a few in the high 12000s, an overkill explanation by me in message 12143, which was a rehash of message 11443.
