about the roms, one more question !

Hi,

With the "search archive" function i have found a lot of informations
about the roms, but i need some advice.

I've just bought a px-7 with protean drums, x-lead v2 and techno
synth construction yard. I don't know which roms will be the best for
me between Vintage Collection and Beat Garden. I know very well the
Vintage Rom and i think this one is great to create new softer lead
sounds that i can't make with the more edgy x-lead rom. I like very
much the mellotron sounds in this rom and the dirty old violin
sounds. In fact i will try to make psytrance, and i like music with
lot of sound modulation. I have an Access Virus since few days and i
will start to compose very soon. I know that i can create all the
sound i want with the Virus but i like the idea to have a full
command station that i can take with me everywhere to create my music
with no restriction. And i will not use my PC for a long time :)
That's cool

But the Beat Garden seems to be good too. I have never really play
with this rom, so i don't know if this one will be the next rom for
me. I have heard the presets on the Rob Papen page and i think that
the only sound that i don't have yet if the flowerbed choir. And this
kind of sound is great for me. I would like to use them with the
appegiator in choir mode in a fast "ahahaa ahahaa syncopated way"

What do you think ? Is Vintage Collection a better choice with the
roms i already have ? Is Beat Garden the good choice for me since i
have a Virus ? This rom issue seems to be the eternal one for all the
command station users on that planet ! ;) Maybe i'll take them both
and replace them sometimes...

Thanks
