Emu XL-7 & MP-7 User's Group

Hello!

Just got my mp7 and I'm mostly in love with it. Sometimes there's
passion of a different kind!!#!!? Like now. I use Synapse Orion as a
host for softsynths that I'd like to controll with the mp7. I bought
the unit mostly because of the hands on sequencer. No more mouse-editing! 

Alas.. I've just started using the sequencer and the realtime
recording doesn't work. It doesn't transmit any midi-signals
(according to the green little lamp) to my VSTi. The strange part is
that the old patterns I've created does send midi althought it's for
the mp7. 

So right now I can play live to the VSTi but as soon as the sequencer
steps in (from the new patterns) I'm screwd.

I've recently upgraded to os 2.0 from 1.0 (with 1.1 first and the
compress-file first). I'm not sure how this may affect the unit. Midi
mode omni, keyboard transmits midi as does knobs. The sequencer just
doesn't, anymore. I've also tried downloading the 2.0-OS once more. It
didn't do anything.

I'm at a loss and in dire need of help, please help!

Any tracks you want to play an external device (i.e. your computer) you
need to specify as either "external" or "both" (2nd to last screen in
pattern edit).

Um, this is gettin' kinda scary.  Groupies... who knew?  =)

On a side note, an opera company that I turned down still sends me
audition notices as Aaron Eppolita.  It bugs me.  They probably know it
does.

On another side note, I did date a girl named "Erin" in high school. 
You wouldn't believe the amount of crap I got for that one.  Well, it
was high school, so maybe you would believe...
