Emu XL-7 & MP-7 User's Group

Hey gang,

For those of you that have both the MP-7 (or at least the Pure Phatt 
ROM) and the Protean Drums ROM (or the PX-7).....how much overlap is 
there between the kits? How many of the hip hop kits from the MP-
7/PurePhatt are also included on the Protean/PX-7? Thanks for the 
help...

As far as I know, none.  The new drums are all... well... new.

I would say none...
Very different sonic spectra and class of kits..
Particularly the ride ,crash ,cymbals etc which are very open and 
natural sounding.
Alot of very good kits for realistic breakbeats ,rock ,jazz ,funk 
grooves plus d'n'bass ,urban/hiphop kits which vary in flava to the 
Mo-phatt kits.
Oh and there's a lot more of them ....
