Emu XL-7 & MP-7 User's Group

Hi all,
When notes C0,C0#,D0,D0#,E0,E0#,F0,F0# and G0 are played/triggered on 
my xx7 the audition light comes on and hangs there, not even playing 
an audition riff.
I´m a bit bewildered that I´ve only just noticed this after 8 months 
and was wondering if this is the case on other units. Maybe I´ve 
adjusted a setting somewhere inadvertently.I scanned the manual and 
archives to no avail. Anyone got any info on this?
What´s it for?
How do I turn it off?

BTW. Our group is havin´ it. A record month for messages ;)

--sound like you have Beats mode engaged; you can turn this off (arp 
menu I believe)
