PX-7 MP-7 XL-7 are they the same?

PX-7 MP-7 XL-7 are they the same?

2004-01-24 by M A Cinense

I just checked out the PX-7 today, and noticed that the silkscreen
was different than my MP-7. Is it really? I mean are there
different features on the PX-7 than there are on the MP-7?

Should I just get the Protean drum ROM, or get another command
station?

So if I get the Protean Drum Rom, then I will basically have a PX-7?

SUWEEET!!!

ok... Next problem. I want the sounds from the World Expedition
Rom. What sound module do I need to look out for? Is there a
keyboard with the Worl Exp. ROM set?

The ROM you are seeking (the world expansion ROM) is rather rare. It
is included in the "planet earth" module and was available for sale
from retailers and www.emu.com for a while, but the nonly place to
find them now is ebay or a friendly posting on a yahoo group.

The good news? I would expect these sounds to be ported to their
newest product, the Emulator X. So they are probably not totally gone.

There are other ROMs with ethnic sounds as well, but none as well
focused on that genre as the Proteus World Expansion ROM.

Yesterday, I posted a message about seeing one on ebay fairly cheap.
They have recently sold for as much as $350.00 on ebay.

I am looking for...???
