e-loader download destination editor

e-loader download destination editor

2003-09-03 by phest2k

Hi folks,
Im trying to download the complete factory patterns bank to bank 7 in
my mp-7 .
is there a quick way around this without renaming all files:
eg.
     P.0.000-A2DJ.mid -renamed- P.7.000-A2DJ.mid

yeh that works but would be a pain in the ass to rename all 127 files.

The e-loader operation manual mentions a "download destination
editor"(page 10)----so I thought I´d use that and just choose a new
bank #, but after adding the desired files to the download bin and
clicking on download, the "download destination editor" doesn´t
appear - it simply DLs straight to bank 0 . (fortunatly i´d backed up
all my new patterns in bank 0). ;)

Any suggestions??
I´m probablly overlooking something basic while surfing the learning
curve too fast.
Thanks
paul

Select all of the patterns you want to download into Bank 7 from within
E-Loader's download page, and then press "CTRL+I". From here you can
specify the new bank destination, and what Pattern number you want to
start from. Very easy to use.

Thanks rEalm

Trick 17 ;)
BTW it takes a few minutes to download the patterns, it seems via
midi even though i have a USB connected. Is this normal or am i
overlooking s´thing yet again?
Q. If e-loader does use midi for DLing midi files then what IS the
usb for???

Again, thanks - esp. for the quick response

If you have the USB drivers installed (see the docs in the E-loader file
for details), then just go to MIDI Device Setup and makes sure the USB
port is selected as the default port.
