Beat Garden / Freebies

Beat Garden / Freebies

2001-12-15 by sigalarm

Hello all.

Just wanted to share something with you. I purchased an XL-7 in the
days of the higher price, and decided I wanted to take Emu up on it
"make it good" policy.

So what shows up this morning? Good old 9063 Beat Garden. Emu came
through.

This is in contrast to:

I didn't get a free copy of Windows XP when AMD dropped the price on
Athlons

Korg did not give me a free memory card when they dropped the price on
the Z1 (oh so many years ago).

(I could keep going, but I think this puts in in perspective)

8-)

Sure, the XL still has some goofy bugs at times, and sure I can't get
E-Loader working on most of my systems (even though I am what you
could call a Java expert, its how I get my $$), but by golly Emu
didn't have to do this, and I am greatful.

Thanks guys.

Bruce

Bruce,

How do you like your Beat Garden ROM? I received mine on Wednesday
and put it in my P2K(now also an Orbit 3)along side the Techno ROM.
Man, Rob Papen sure makes some good S***(Stuff).

Look into the TSCY ROM as well if you haven't already.

Currently in the XL-7

XL-7 ROM
TSCY
FLASH-1 (ARGON)
FLASH-2 (COBOL)

What to get rid of to try out the Beat Garden... hmm...

What kind of your own samples(presets)did you make on the Flash ROM's?
I would definately keep the TSCY in there though.
