Are you sending lots of sysex, or just a clock signal?

Hi rEalm,

It's just a clock signal ... I've tried to send Internal PC Clock
(Fast Timing), LTC High (Fast Timing), LTC Slow (Slow Timing) ...
it's the same ...
I think it could be the fact of recieving the clock at too high rate
but I really don't know how to slow it !!!

Thanks for help, I keep on searching ...

What program are you trying to sync the MP-7 up to, Cakewalk, Logic,
Cubase, etc? Try these:

-Check to see if you've got a midi loop happening. If you're using a
software sequencer, see if turning off it's midi thru feature fixes the
problem, or turn off the midi thru feature of the MP instead.
-Maybe decrease the ppqn setting in the host pogram just to see if that
helps. Make sure you're not sending the MP-7 loads of sysex
inadvertantly too, that'll clog it up real quick.
-One more thing to check would be your cable too, try swapping cables as a
last resort and make sure you're not getting some type of internal short
in the signal caused by a kink or small cut.

Also, have you successfully synced up other gear with that Midi interface?
I know that LTC is a sequencer specific protocol used only for MOTU stuff
(ie Digital Performer) so you don't want to be using that mode. Try and
sync it to a free demo of Cubase or something else and see if it locks up
then too.

I just turn the MP7 on Local OFF and that's OK with my sequencer !!!

Thanks EMU for this new OS ...
