Thanks, Steve! I d actually already found this in the manual. What I still cannot find is where the original riff tempo is? In other words, can you read it,

Cross posted in P2K and XL7 Groups: Look for RIFF TEMPO. BTS presets are presets with special (usually 16 channel) riffs. There are two options: (a) use riff

... Congrats :-) Command Stations are awesome, so it s always better to keep them than to get rid of them. ... You cannot do it in pattern, since it s... erm,

How funny! I just posted a similar question about beats! There may be better ways, but what I did was simply midi record the pattern into my DAW sequencer,
2012-12-03 by D F Tweedie
(Cross-posted XL7 and P2K) I know if I play a pattern, the tempo reads out in the synth. If I record into my sequencer and set the sequencer to the same tempo,

Is your track 2 pointed at channel 2a?
2012-12-02 by D F Tweedie
Matt ... What I meant was I was using the track button for what I assumed was midi on channel 2 (top row, second from the left). I had Channel 02A selected in

What do you mean I was doing this with the track button how are you adjusting send amount with the track button? Turn your fx off - after this are you still

(Cross-posted on XL7 and P2K forums) I m sure this has come up a zillion times ... but I can t seem to get it straight in my head. There may be something wrong

Hi Steve, Absolutely, I work for ten years with all range of E-MU modules. These are remarkables, and robusts machines Warmly Mike.

Thanks for the explanation; it clarifies the problem. It is still a mystery as to what kind of data is causing the sampler to jump out of any of the edit modes
2012-11-25 by steve_the_composer
I agree. You can even do cool things, like embed sysex commands to do things you otherwise could not do. Steve

Yes ! It s work fine Mike.

Hi guys, anyone has ever tried to create patterns (or even single tracks) using an external sequencer, saving them as MIDI file - and then importing with

Hmmmmm. If the module switching [not sure what that is] only happens when you press play, not when you dial up a new pattern, then I don t think the source

Hmmmmm. I thought MMC was something different. Just looked it up--I was right--MMC is something totally different. I also thought that parameter controlled

i tried turning the transmit midi clock to off but it still switches the sampler out of the module. i guess i can live with it though, or get an asr-10 instead
2012-11-22 by Bruno
... Not trying to be nitpicking, but this is MIDI Clock, and Start/Stop is MMC (MIDI Machine Control). It would make no sense, however, to send only MMC with

Hi, Ask your tech to check resistor R7 (120Kohms) in the power supply to see if it is open circuit. The resistor may be discoloured to the point where it is

Send the drums out submix 1 AND out the main. You will have to set this up inside the preset menu. Then in routing for that channel you will have to choose
2012-11-03 by Matt
Yes u can use them as a mixer basically they are insert jacks. Unfortunately this audio coming back in through sub only routes to main analog output.
2012-11-03 by nikitsanpsix
It`s great!!! But can anybody tell me how i can make a parallel NY style compression with this??? Now i have all drums routed to sub out1 and into 2 channel
2012-11-03 by Matt
Not exactly.. yes They are routable by midi channel but they are also routable by preset layer if you choose. For example you could build a 4 layer drum kit
2012-11-03 by D F Tweedie
I am setting them up. The S/DIF parallels the master out, which I understand as all tracks except any separately routed to the sub outs. The sub mix channels

i am wondering if the audio coming into the cs via the sub/mix inputs also goes to the spdif out?

I saw those the other day, looks like factory leftovers or something. seems you would have to install the chips, and then who knows if the proper sampler would

Thanks for this! I ll try a ready-made solution. Have fun cutting and fabricating; with a saw and a drill I would likely lose several fingers and drill holes

Can t say definitively about sound modules in general, but I have tested that the PSU in a P2500 module is compatible with the command stations and vice-versa.
