Emu XL-7 & MP-7 User's Group

Yes, unless you only wanted to shift one layer.  I typically find the 
first layer I want to use, then use the Preset Transpose on layer 2 to 
find the next hit to layer.

How so? Can't you just shift all the layers by different amounts?
