Nevermind.  I just figured it out.  To get the pattern/track channel 
info to "stick", the sequencer needs to have gone through 
the "record" mode, ( I put it into step record, but recorded 
nothing).  Once the track is marked as "*" changed, the channel info 
sticks and the template is still a blank template once saved.

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
