i must say that i am surprised that no one sets up multis with presets and if they do ..on one wanted to ans the question..i fianlly turned to the emu website and they helped me out.Wonderfull feeling this is what i got from the tech support You can recall the multisetup from within the pattern and that should solve the problem. In pattern edit go to Event and enter program change data and Bank select change data. For Multisetups : MSB=80, LSB=00 and then the Program change = the Multisetup number. but there is more to go ..this did not work for me you have to make shure that prg ch is enabled for that particular midi ch and you have to set the destination both, inter would prb work but i did not check that out. hoora ho ra peace -- In xl7@yahoogroups.com, "honkeyhindu" <honkeyhindu@c...> wrote: > hello everyone ..what am i doing wrong here ..please tell me that > this is a function that i can do > > > In xl7@yahoogroups.com, "honkeyhindu" <honkeyhindu@c...> wrote: > > What knob settings are you changing? > > controller assigment > > k1 assigned to 74 for ch 2 > > k2 assigned to 71 for ch 4 > > > > the for pattern two > > > > say k1 assigned to control 1 ch 4 > > whatever you get the idea .. > > > > after i set the controller assigment i play the pattern then i save > > the pattern and then i save the muti and then name it and then save > > it to that name .. > > > > i do this for the two patterns .. > > again in oder for the pattern and controller vaules to be right. > > these are the steps that i have to take .. > > go to multi ..select the multi ..then revert the pattern > > ..when i switch the pattern i ahve to do the same for that pattern > as > > well ....HOW DO I DO THIS LIVE ..i cant stop the show and start it > up > > again ..thanks again > > > > > > > > > > - In xl7@yahoogroups.com, erik_magrini@B... wrote: > > > What knob settings are you changing?
