I do not know, as I have never tried...my Elektron MD SPS-1 is always the
clock master.

hmm...20ms is not ideal to be sure, but have you tested how stable the XL-7
clock is?

Ah, I did not forget it, as I too own a Waldorf MicroWave XTk...there are
times when it can sound very analog, but I see that as the exception rather
than the rule, which is the MW XT is the epitome of (good-sounding) digital.

The real problem with the MicroWave II/XT/XTk is the current state of the
OS...certainly usable, but there are definitely things to watch out for...I
will celebrate the day Waldorf delivers OS 3.0 for the XT (and OS 3.5 for
the Q!).
