On a similar note, I would hight suggest the Nord Modular.  It has been 
discontinued too, but it's still a great unit!  Check out www.novamusik.com 
they are blowing out brand new Nord Modulars for $949-$999!  I don't work 
with them, I just take adavange of their great deals!  I bought the keyboard 
version and it came with a free gig bag, sweet!
