antioxidizer is deffenitly something I might wanna use, only if i knew where to get it in the us.Can someone please give me a clue? thanks Ezra Gold <ezra_gold@...> wrote: The skipping knob problem is caused by oxidation. After reading some earlier posts I tried DeOxit (what did I have to loose?) with great results. Simply power off the unit, remove the knob, spray a small amount into the encoder and spin the encoder for a while. The encoder now works better than new. I also used some moving contact lubricant (MCL) in an attempt to return the smooth feel and help prevent this problem returning. The feel is good but I will have to report back on any protective qualities in a few months.
