If you use soundiver you can use the Audity 2000 presets to control the XL-7,
just make sure you are using the same device ID. If anyone knows how to edit
patches for these I believe the only difference or soundiver is the ROM ID
identifiers, don't know that would be a problem though for soundiver... ?

dunno myself ! The Emulator 5 software was supposed to be the control surface
for the modules and samplers and most EMU equipment - if its still being
developed updated ??

Is there one? I'm sure it will be on the EMU website, but I'm missing
it if there is one.
Also, if I write midi sequences in an external sequencer, I'll have
to encode the patch/bank change commands so when I reopen the file or
download it to the XL7 the correct instruments will be in the right
places... Right?
