Emu XL-7 & MP-7 User's Group

I'm sure it will be on the EMU website, but I'm missing it if there is

Also, if I write midi sequences in an external sequencer, I'll have to 
encode the patch/bank change commands so when I reopen the file or 
download it to the XL7 the correct instruments will be in the right 
places... Right?

>>>Yeah, or just save the current Multisetup after you select all your 
patches while the midi file is still being written in the PC.  Then, after 
you reimport the midi file into the XL-7, reload that Multi and 
immdeiately save the pattern.  The multi will remember the patches you 
used, and will overwrite any patches currently on each channel upon 
reload.  Err, does that make sense? <<<
