Emu XL-7 & MP-7 User's Group

Hey all, I got a question for ya.  Get the forum moving ya know...  

I recently was skimming through my XL-7 manual and I found a very 
usefull little nugget of info concerning the FX setup.  Apparently 
cc:79 is hard-coded on all presets to be the FX channel selector.  
This will be huge when i get it working well, because I should be 
able to route each individual track to whatever send output I want 
(internal FX, mixer, FX box, etc).  

The FX settings respond to CC values: 0=Use Preset, 1=Send1, 2=Send2, 
3=Send3 and 4=Send4.  I set a Program Knob to basic seq/cc:79 to see 
what would happen.  Lo and behold it worked great.  Only one problem; 
I can only turn the knob about a nanometer and it will go from Use 
Preset to Send4.  The value range is way too tight.

I want to have the programmable knob span only CC values 0-4 instead 
of 0-127.  Is this possible?  I would really like to keep the knob on 
basig seq to perserve the way I have other stuff set up.
