Hey guys, thanks for the input. but I hate being the newbie to correct this issue, considering it is my own issue. too bad it had to cost me a call to E-mu. so get this, what I wanted to do was change the volume setting for one of the tracks on a factory pattern. So here is what I had to do, Thanks goes to Ned from E-mu, much props man... 1. in pattern mode, press the pattern edit button next to the jog dial. 2. blinking cursor on the top line, use the jog dial to get the ERASE EVENTS option. 3. use the cursor to select the bottom line, CC# 1, you then use the dial again to scrool and get CC# 7 (volume). 4. the Home/Enter button will turn on (red). 5. at this point pay attention to the light in the command functions area. this is where the 16 track buttons are located, and probably blinking. click on the track button you want to clear the volume event. you can also click more than one track at a time. 6. once the track(s) are selected, click the Home/Enter button. 7. DONE. oh wait don't forget to save your work... doh... I speak from experience here. Please don't hate me, I have only had the MP-7 since Monday, and I work during the day, so I am extremely new to this awesome piece of equipment. thanks...
