Make sure you disable the MS wavetable device in the Device Setup too,
otherwise it always wants to grab the first audio outs of your sound card.

Yeah, you beat me to it. After I posted I thought to myself, I bet
someone will mention the monitoring button. Unfortunately I do have
this engaged and nothing. The MP-7 is sending midi cause the track
levels are bouncing but I can't hear anything. I am going to try
some more troubleshooting and if I have no luck I guess I will
install that soundblaster at some point and see if that works. Thx
