I don't really use the Song Track, so I don't know off the top of my head. 
 Did you accidentally record a PC message in the track?  Use Event List 
Editor to take a look, perhaps you can just change it to your new Preset 
from with in there.  Strange that you have issues in Pattern mode with 
Sends and Presets though, never seen that myself.

Song Track.  I noticed this also happens when I'm in pattern mode trying 
to
change the SENDs and sometimes even presets.
