Re: [xl7] time-streching

2002-11-25 by erik_magrini@Baxter.com

Hmm, must be some kind of miscommmunication going on here. Yes, I'm quite
aware of both of those bands, I was a huge psy-trance fiend not too long
ago, and still break out my old Flying Rhino records now and then. Anyway,
to me time-stretching is a process applied to an audio file to make it
longer or shorter in order to fit with pre-existing material. However,
I'm confused when you mention it in the context of the XL-7 or RM1x, as
both of those are midi sequencers and have nothing to do with audio files.
Perhaps you could give an example of the timestretching in the RM1x so I
can understand what you're asking?

Do U know Hallucinogen or shpongle, british pioneer called Simon Posford?
For the hallucinogen there's no problem ... But for the realtime
timestrech
on the XL7 ??
