Yeah, a real bummer for sure.  I was actually thinking of getting one when 
they were first announced so that I could use it live (I need sampling for 
this).  But with no megamix (yet, maybe Jim's up to something) and only 64 
poly still, it's not worth it.  I was banging my head against the wall 
many times cursing the mc505's 64 poly, and that was with only mono 
waveforms!   The polyphony is the biggest let down IMO.

I agree with you that is sucks that they removed megamix. What were they 
thinking, removing the major function that set the mc505 apart from 
everyone else?!

And it is too expensive yet.
