I just downloaded the WinLame MP3 encoder (thanks rEalm!) and plan on joining in the upcoming contest. It seems that I need to first create a file on my computer of the song itself. Would that be a .wav file? Can anyone tell me how this can be done? I have Cakewalk Guitar Studio, but I don't have a clue how to use it. Perhaps I can learn a simple way to import analog audio into Cakewalk and then rip the MP3 from that. Or is there an even easier way? Or I could record it onto my Repeater and then use the CFC and a card reader to import the file???
