Emu XL-7 & MP-7 User's Group

1. I do not recall seeing any literature from E-mu promising to update any 
O.S. Perhaps it could be argued that such has become expected of any synth 
being released these days where the O.S. can be upgradeable over midi, but 
still, I don't recall any promises.

3. I am very happy to be looking forward to a new O.S., but I am usually 
equally happy to hear (strange as it may sound) that a final o.s. has 
landed, faults and all, that there will be no more, EVER! It allows me to 
stop thinking about features or lack of features and just get on with 
using the instrument and focusing on what is good.

even dropped the ball about the OS update before they were supposed to,
