Simply spend some time (and money, if you must :) ) and custom paint the 
bottlecap.

Hehehe, that's definitely a good option, though after spending quite a bit 
of time and money custom painting my XL-7, not sure I want to go and tape 
a bottle cap over the power button :)

You can always tape a bottle cap over the panel's power switch and use the 
rear panel for on/off. Not
very handy if you unit is rack mounted. Anyway, it's a lame suggestion, 
but I'm sure McGyver would be down
with it.
