POwer buttoN

POwer buttoN

2002-08-28 by erik_magrini@Baxter.com

I was just tweaking a preset to fit in the Pattern I was working on. Each
time I never even realized I hit the button, so I don't know what
'exactly' I was doing to cause it. Frustrating though, luckily I'm pretty
good about saving often.

I'll forever be baffled as to how people keep on powering down their units
by accident. What on earth are you doing to hit the power button aside
from when you need to?

You can always tape a bottle cap over the panel's
power switch and use the rear panel for on/off. Not
very handy if you unit is rack mounted. Anyway, it's a
lame suggestion, but I'm sure McGyver would be down
with it.

Hehehe, that's definitely a good option, though after spending quite a bit of time and money custom painting my XL-7, not sure I want to go and tape a bottle cap over the power button :)

Simply spend some time (and money, if you must :) ) and custom paint the bottlecap.

If you wanted it to be truly tricked out. Mount a
small hinge on the faceplate and attach the bottle cap
to that. Then there wouldn't be any tape and you could
still power down from the fornt panel.

Houston, we have ignition ... :)
