Realm is right.  Putting nuts on the 16 knobs is not recommended, or at 
least tightening them down isn't.  The knob board is designed to be held 
in place by internal standoffs.  Adding nuts to tighten down from the 
outside will cause the circuit board to flex (this is a bad thing).  The 
volume, headphone, and power switch board is mounted exclusively by the 
two external nuts, as the board is perpendicular to the front panel.
