Subject: Re: [xl7] Werd to your whole setup -> MIDI SYSEX THRU DAMMITThis is not the reply I was looking for :( I will contact EMU with my problem...----- Original Message -----From: Ravi Ivan SharmaSent: Monday, July 22, 2002 11:43 PMSubject: Re: [xl7] Werd to your whole setupBased on what you say, I think you are right. There is no mention of this or anything like it in the manual or addenda that I can see. Have you sent an e-mail to E-mu directly?Til then it looks like you will have to patch/repatch or use a different external merger or a separate usb->midi box like a small midiman or something.----- Original Message -----From: David JonesSent: Monday, July 22, 2002 10:27 PMSubject: [xl7] Werd to your whole setupOk, I asked it before, and maybe i didn't explain my situation well enough.I'm running an A4000 (yamaha sampler) out of my MP-7. I also have my computer plugged into the Mp-7. I have MIDI MERGE ON on the MP-7. When I use a sequencer, the Note data goes right to my A4000 no problem. But when I try to get SYSEX data to it (from BZONE), it doesn't work! It works fine when I run right out of my computer into the A4k. So I figure there must be some filtering going on... ANYONE?"
