my 2 cents...
i'm currently using a very maxed out mp-7 connected to a yamaha a-4000....
yamaha doesn't ever get much street cred with its gear, but the a series
samplers (3000,4000,5000) has a lot going for it. i have been using my
a-4000 for over a year now, and am just starting to discover the potential.
these samplers can do loads of stuff.... up to 10 outs with an add-on, lotsa
fx, filters, loop resampling, loop divides...etc... all for under $1000 bux.
i paid 800 for the sampler ... 20 bucks for a 4 gig hard drive (internal)
and another 200 bux for some additional ram.,, compare that to the a-kai
MPC.... yeah...everybody sweats them, but ppl sweat lexus' when a honda will
get the job done (and a lot cheaper too....)...

is it just me or is the mpc3000 a bit too pricey? I suppose 24bit 96k is
cool. But 4500$ cool? Now i'm back to wanting the Hartmann Neuron!!!
