I don't think I need to upload yet, I'm only using 71% of my memory. 
That's about 200+ user Presets, two songs, and about 30 pattern right now. 
 What do you have stored on your XX-7 that takes up so much memory, a lot 
of complete songs?

This defrag operation thing has happened to my XL three times since 
January, when I bought it.  It seems to take less time now than it did at 
first.  My memory is down to about 18% now.  BTW, it seems from this that 
the memory will run out long before I can use up the user locations.  I 
guess then you have to upload to the computer and clean out your 
patterns/presets?
