Im new to the group but I own many Emu/Ensoniq products. SP1200, ASR 10 , FIZMO, E5000, and MP7. I am nearly ready to sell my E5000 for one reason and one reason only!!! Is it me or can you not do realtime sample editing while the sequencer is running? Going into sample edit mode disables the presets playing within the sequence. With my ASR 10, I can tweak a sample perfectly to the beat while running. I just couldnt believe this when I first got the E5000 but sadly it seems true. Please tell me Im a novice and have just overlooked this function. If not, the E5000 (with all its impressive features) gets the thumbs down. --- Sean Wilhelmsen <seanw@...> wrote: > I might be biassed, But the E-MU E-5000 should on > your list.
