Emu XL-7 & MP-7 User's Group

Did you try to "Transmit MIDI A/B out" option?  And also
try "transmit knob and keyboard output midi"  Reason is 
always the slave in any situation.  In Reason...you have to
go to Edit> Preferences> Page pull-down window> MIDI> select your
MIDI Port (for example In-A USB MidiSport 2x2)> Midi Channel.
Now select Page: Advanced MIDI> Choose your MIDI bus and enable
Remote Control with the desired MIDI In device and enable Midi
Clock Sync.  In Reason...there is a MIDI and an ENABLE button
in teh MIDI SyNc Focus section of the transport and highlight
them.
